What is VelaShape?

We all have trouble spots on our bodies – areas that have that dreaded ‘orange peel’ look. Cellulite can be difficult to shift, but now it can be eliminated in three sessions or less.

VelaShape is a non-invasive, contouring treatment that shapes and tones the body safely. Enjoy visible and stunning results without any discomfort or downtime.

How does it work?

VelaShape technology combines infrared light, bi-polar radio frequency energy and vacuum, which cause deep heating of the fat cells, their surrounding connective tissue and the underlying dermal collagen fibres. This type of efficient heating and vacuum stimulates the growth of new and better collagen and elastin, which results in localized reduction in skin laxity, body volume, and an overall improvement in skin structure and texture.

In short, it encourages your skin’s natural regrowth, and improves everything from texture to structure to elasticity. It tightens up problem areas and reduces circumference.

The treatment feels like a warm, deep-tissue massage. Side-effects include some pinkness at the site of treatment, which fades away after a few hours.

Which areas can I treat?

Cellulite treatment areas include the neck (under the chin), arms, thighs, buttocks, flank and abdomen. Most patients see gradual and cumulative results throughout the treatment regime.

Am I a good candidate for VelaShape?

VelaShape works best in conjunction with diet and exercise, but it works best on reaching trouble spots that healthy living can’t get rid of. The ideal patient has a BMI under 30 (clinical obesity is measured from 30). However, your qualified therapist will assess you for viability and ensure that the treatment will be effective.
