Massage Balms

These are the balms Africology therapists reach for in treatment rooms, and balm rather than oil is a deliberate choice: it holds slip longer, so a little goes further across a full massage. For muscle work, Black Pepper Body Balm is the warming one, and it pairs with Muscle Ease Rub for anyone who trains. Essence Free Body Balm is the unscented base, and the one to use on clients who cannot tolerate fragrance or who react easily. The relaxation blends are the florals: Jasmine, Frangipani, Rose, Neroli and Geranium. Lemon Grass and Coconut & Pineapple are the brighter, more uplifting options for a morning treatment.

Every balm is built on plant butters and oils and scented only with pure essential oils, never synthetic fragrance, which matters in a closed treatment room more than almost anywhere else.
