Africology haircare is sulphate-free, which is the single biggest difference you will feel: no aggressive lather, and colour and natural oils left intact. There are two ranges. The original Shampoo and Conditioner are the richer pair, moisturising as they cleanse, with natural oils in the conditioner that soften without leaving hair greasy or weighed down. The Bio Therapy Shampoo and Bio Therapy Conditioner extend the same phytotherapy formulating into a lighter, more frequent-use option, and are what you will find in the hotels and lodges Africology supplies.

Both pairs come as bundles at better value, and in 50ml travel sizes if you want to test a range before committing or need something for a carry-on. Expect a fortnight or so of adjustment when moving off a sulphate shampoo, while the scalp settles its own oil production.
