The Africology Facial Starter Kit offers a comprehensive skincare routine, thoughtfully curated to cleanse, nourish, and revitalize your skin. Here's a simplified guide to using each product:
1. Cleanse
• Purifying Cleansing Gel: Ideal for normal to oily, combination, or problem skin, this gel utilises natural foaming agents like Quillaja and Soapwort to deeply purify without stripping moisture. Ingredients such as rosemary and lavender help balance sebum levels.
• Hydrating Cleansing Lotion: Suitable for normal, dry, sensitive, or eczema-prone skin, this lotion combines essential oils and botanical extracts to soothe and hydrate while effectively removing makeup.
Usage: Apply your chosen cleanser to damp skin, massage gently in circular motions, and rinse with warm water.
2. Exfoliate
• Exfoliating Cream: 2-3 times a week, apply this cream to damp skin, massaging gently to remove dead skin cells and promote a radiant complexion.
3. Masque
• Clay Masque: Apply a thin layer to clean skin, avoiding the eye area. Leave on for 10–15 minutes to absorb excess oils and toxins, then rinse off.
4. Tone
• Absolute Rose Tonic: This toner contains gentle rose absolute oil and anti-inflammatory witch hazel to condition the skin while refining pores. It also helps maintain good blood circulation, leaving the skin feeling smooth, refreshed, and soothed.
• Tonic Anti-Reactive: This powerful toner contains natural ingredients that balance the skin and alleviate conditions like acne and rosacea. It improves elasticity, deeply hydrates, slows the effects of aging, and reduces inflammation.
Usage: After cleansing (and exfoliating, when applicable), apply your selected toner to a cotton pad and gently sweep over the face and neck.
5. Moisturise
• Moisturiser: Finish by applying the moisturiser to hydrate and protect your skin, leaving it soft and supple. This kit provides a holistic approach to skincare, allowing you to tailor each step to your skin's unique needs.
