Skincare needs have changed dramatically in the past few decades. Today, toxins inhaled and applied to our skins, coupled with blue light and WiFi frequencies damage the skin’s precious mitochondria and wreak havoc on neurological pathways. All of this contributes to premature ageing. We took note and formulated our moisturiser to protect skin that is constantly exposed to computer and smartphone screens.
Our selection of mainly intracellular proteins, peptides and amino acids are derived from a natural, specially selected strain of yeast (saccharomyces cerevisiae). It revitalises and strengthens the skin's natural ability to protect itself against damaging environmental influences.
The amino acid threonine not only helps to produce proteins, but also helps to support the central nervous system, while boosting immunity. Valine is vital for the growth of muscle tissue and glycoproteins boast potent moisturising properties. With regular application, it leaves the skin looking rejuvenated, youthful and healthier.
With SPF 15, it offers an added layer of protection against everyday UV exposure, helping to keep skin looking rejuvenated, youthful, and healthy.
From time to time our ingredients may change, as we become wiser and able to better what we blend with. For this reason we will always update our web page for accuracy. In the interest of preserving our ecology, we still may use a printed packaging with old ingredient listing, to preserve our waste and landfills.
All Africology formulations are void of harmful ingredients: Parabens, Phenoxyethanol, EDTA & Disodium EDTA, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Isopropyl alcohol SD-40, Propylene Glycol. We are committed to eliminate all PEGs and work towards creating clean formulations that protect DNA and the environment. All our products are also free from microplastics, making them safe to wash into the water system.
