More benefits of our SPF include that it’s vegan-friendly and backed by dermatological testing, using international accredited protocols. Africology’s products are not tested on animals, but on the skins of human volunteers.
**Please note that carrot oil is dominant in the earthy aroma of our carefully formulated SPF. Respecting the integrity of each ingredient means keeping their natural properties intact, and therefore, we won’t mask their smells with artificial perfumes. It’s also worth remembering that fragrances that are applied to the skin – either in perfume form or as product ingredients – can cause damage to the epidermis when it’s exposed to the sun’s UV light. "Most mineral sunscreens that I’ve used claim to leave no white cast and claim to not feel sticky - this one actually does what it promises. No white cast, it doesn’t feel sticky and my skin looks healthy the whole day. It doesn’t smell like much and the faint smell disappear quickly. Will definitely purchase the bigger size next time."

"The best part to me is knowing that it is full of good ingredients - nothing bad being absorbed by my skin … and it’s protecting my skin from UVA/UVB naturally. The only downside is that when I’m out running, it runs off with sweating or “beads” on my skin but I can live with that because I only run for short periods in the sun. My long runs I do before the sun rises."

"SPF coverage is a no brainer, we all need it. This sunblock however is different to what I've used before. It applies well, doesn't leave a white residue either. Not much of a smell, it therefor doesn't interfere with the moisturizers you use before."
