These days, not sleeping is a badge of honour. Executives boast of how they get by on three hours of sleep, and there are entire industries dedicated to keeping us all awake. Between smart phones, energy drinks and streaming entertainment, there is so much that entices us to skip out on sleep.
Conscious Skincare: Beauty at the cost of the Earth?
Micro-plastic particles are being found in all ocean gyres, bays, gulfs and seas worldwide.
We support the care for the environment, thus we pledge that all Africology products are free from harmful microplastics. These tiny plastic particles are found in many beauty products. Once they enter the marine environment, they are almost impossible to remove as they are not bio-degradable. Not only polluting waterways and oceans but sea creatures also absorb and ingest these microplastics, which in turn damage vital marine ecosystems. Africology uses natural alternatives such as walnut shell, jojaba beads, sugar and rooibos.
Kind to the Planet. Kind to you.

Nourishing while it exfoliates, this gentle cream contains skin-protecting jojoba beads (which are biodegradable) that remove dull, dead cells. It’s enriched with hydrating waxes and essential oils to protect and soothe, while only removing what is needed from the skin.
Acting as an anti-irritating treatment, it boasts a range of nourishing ingredients, including comfrey leaves blended with olive extracts, rooibos and African Potato – all helping to soothe the skin while it detoxes during exfoliation, and ensuring optimum hydration while eliminating dead skin cells. The result is a rejuvenated and glowing complexion..
